Contractor, Builder Certification Process
Why are we certifying contractors?
We know that the redevelopment plans we are preparing will require many contractors and builders in order to complete them in the time frame that we have designated.  The only way that our objectives can be completed is if we certify contractors and builders.  EPRA will verify references, trade lines, workmanship and stability in order to make certain that the approved contractors and builders listed on our website will do the job expected of them in our community at the standards that we have determined for our area.  This is important to the residents of our community that will require rehab and renovation work in addition to potential investors having a qualified pool of contractors and builders to complete their approved projects.

Certification process requirements
In order to be reviewed for certification by EPRA; contractors, subcontractors and builders need to complete the certification application and submit it online or it can be mailed to our office.  We are located at 1109 N. 40th Street, Philadelphia, PA  19104.  The review process will take approximately 1 week upon which all approved applicants will be given a certification number, an EPCRC certificate of community works and listed on our web site under the various skills.  Please do not come into our community and attempt to circumvent our certification process.  We have established it for a reason and expect those who wish to do business in our community to respect it!

We will start accepting applications on or around June 23, 2005

Our Design Standards Committee is working diligently to provide a
detailed product and supplier listing.  Upon completion we will start acceptance of applications.
